This might be exactly what you need right now.

I'll get straight to the point.

If you have no intention of coming to The Adventurer Experience feel free to close this email and crack on.

(That said, there is a short life lesson at the end that you will find helpful).

But if you’ve been feeling a bit flat lately, in your career or in general… this is for you.

Got a good life on paper but something feels off?… read on.

Know you’re capable of more but haven’t quite worked out what it is…

...or you’re tired of doing everything on your own?… this is for you.

So I wanted to paint a picture of what it looks like to come along.

And I figured I'd just plot out the event.

Location: Cotswolds (1 hour drive North from London or one hour South from Birmingham)

Leave early on Saturday morning and drive to the venue with a good podcast on.

8-9am Arrive after enjoying the quiet roads and famous Cotswolds scenery.

Feeling relaxed but maybe a bit excited to see whats ahead.

Park the car, grab your bag and come to meet me and the other guys.

Hoover down a decent coffee and grab some snacks if needed.

Join myself and a small group of men.

9am - We find out more about everyone and their situation.

What's working, whats not.

This is where you realise you’re not the only one thinking the way you are.

Where the bullshit excuses drop a bit.

Where you stop dealing with it all yourself.

And we've had guys here from the Police, NHS, Vodaphone, Netflix, British Aerospace, Engineering, IT, Entrepreneurs, and Fitness.

There's no filter, and nobody can be offended by what is said (mainly by me).

After a quick break you feel more relaxed.

11am - Rick Cooper (co-host) gives a great talk on one of the biggest things holding men back from the success that crave - FEAR.

You start to see a few things in your life that need to shift and how they can start to change.

Business decisions you keep putting off.

Conversations you know you need to have at home but don't.

The thing you’ve been saying “I’ll sort that soon” about for 6 bloody months.

Then Midday we have a great buffet lunch sitting outside.

Good quality local meat, organic eggs, salads, raw milk, and some locally baked sourdough with lashings of organic grass-fed butter.

After lunch we get in to a big topic on the habits that are helping you and hindering you.

This can help you see what to stop doing and what to start doing.

The late nights scrolling instead of building something.

The extra pint that turns into three.

Saying you’ll workout … and doing absolutely fuck all.

There's a reason James Clear book Atomic Habits was so popular, because our habits shape us every single day.

After that we head out to get the body moving.

3pm - A decent walk out of the village past the picturesque cottages.

Out to a stunning location to take in the fresh air and do an exercise that's always popular (and hits hard).

In my experience, this is usually where things click

When you’re out of your normal environment, your thinking changes

You get space… and that’s where clarity actually shows up that's been hiding.

5pm - When we get back there's some down time to relax which is likely to involve a powerful exercise to help you chill out, but just awaiting confirmation.

Then, we head in to the village for a Gong Bath.

If you’re carrying stress, this will sort you out.

If your head’s constantly busy, this forces it to slow down.

You don’t have to “believe in it” like it's magic… just lie there and let it do its thing

That said, I just found out some selfish Mo-Fo has already hired the village hall so I'm just working out a new location - un-fucking-believeable.

7pm - The gong bath is basically an hour of deep deeeeeeep total relaxation whilst surrounded by powerful gongs that can make you feel like you're melting in to the floor.

8pm - After that we head back to the venue for a dinner sitting out by the fire.

Once that's hoovered down you can chat, share ridiculous life stories, take some time to contemplate, and then head to bed about 10.30pm.

And Sunday?

Well...

Alarm goes off about 6.30am.

Totally relaxed start.

Some healthy snacks and decent coffee.

7am - Then we head off towards a National Trust place a few roads away.

Some will jog there, and some will walk - I don't mind either way.

An hour or so later we arrive back in the village and head for some dynamic meditation (led by Rick) and a super powerful exercise if you've ever felt anger or rage, or just got pissed off with stuff in life.

Let's be honest - A lot of men carry frustration they don’t deal with.

It comes out sideways… at work, at home, or just sits there under the surface

This gives you a way to actually shift it.

10am - Then, back for a hearty breakfast which will involve lots of sausages, eggs, avocado, sourdough and good conversation.

There will be ice baths for those who fancy a dip, but not mandatory.

11am - Then we regroup for a discussion about how to release what's holding us back and start to make a plan for what we need to do going forward.

In the last hour we wrap up with a 30day plan, so you are clear and focus on what comes next when you leave.

And, for those who want to, there will be a check in 30 days after (via Zoom) to see how progress is going.

So you don’t leave fired up for 48 hours and then drift again.

So you leave knowing exactly what you’re doing next.

And you’ve got people who will actually check you follow through.

Then, of those who want to, they can head off about 3pm...

...or come to the local pub with me and the other guys for a Sunday Roast (not included in the event).

And then you head home.

You leave feeling like you’ve got hold of your life again, and with a bit of edge back.

Most importantly you leave knowing what needs to be done… and actually ready to do it.

Pretty fucking unbelievable value if I do say so myself for £250.

And you can even pay in 3 instalments of £84.

So, we already has guys like John, Chris, Luke, Brett, Tom etc confirmed...

And if this sounds like the kind of weekend event you need...

...here's the link to grab your place.

Feel free to reply if you have any questions.

Enjoy your weekend and speak to you Monday.

And the short life lesson from a previous participant?

He'd had a lot going on in his life, and he felt exhausted so actually drove 2 hours home on the Saturday night...

but, Sunday, he woke up at 6am feeling refreshed after such a powerful day... and got in the car to drive back so he didn't miss out.

That's commitment to the group.

And the lesson is.. If you've got stuff going on, you don't have to carry it all alone.

Hmmm... Most of the advice aimed at 'ambitious' men says roughly the same thing. Keep pushing for the result you want. Never stop pursuing you dreams. Rest when you’re dead, Mofo. And most of the time, I agree with it to some extent. I mean... I love it when a guy has an attitude where he makes things happen, he is prepared to work hard, to put in the hours to create the opportunities he needs. There's loads of those guys in the membership, either Spark, Network, or Nexus. So I'm all for...

Be honest. Do you love what you do for your career? In fact.. for some...another question would be... ...do you even LIKE it? Now I reckon... ...about 5% will say they love what they do. ...maybe 30% will 'like' what they do ...and the rest are in the lower categories of 'it's ok'. or ' I can't stand it'. I've been in all those categories before, so wherever you stand I'm with you. But on Friday I saw a great example of something we should all be impressed with. I was at the Horse of the year...

I have a deep rooted memory of being out in Turkey on holiday as a kid. My family at some old town market haggling with men over a handbag or wallet or something. They give you some nice Turkish tea and you settle in for a short bartering session that seemed to last for hours. All for the sake of some leather and a few quid discount. For some reason I just hated it. On reflection it's because, as a kid you have zero interest in pissing about in some little market that smells like a camels....
