Ask any of the guys in any of the three levels of membership and they'll tell you... I'm a big believer in questioning things. Not just what we are told about how the world works... Not just what big Pharma might tell us... Not just what the dangerous puppet MPs tell us to do... But also questioning our own actions and decisions. That's because the questions we ask ourselves can shape how we live and therefore our chances of success in all areas of life. So recently, as we end September, I asked the guys in the membership this simple question to create some thought in them. The last quarter of the year is nearly here. Honestly, how mentally ready do you feel for it? And with zero context, I thought I'd share a few of the replies. A: Totally ready. Bring. It. Fucking. On A: I don’t feel ready but just going to start doing those little things, turn the dial again in the right direction. Soon as I get that first customer over the line can build from there. A: Work wise - dis-interested/ un motivated - had a crap week last week and its really affected my productivity/ how I currently feel about the job and the coming months. A: Prepare as best as I can and adapt when necessary. A: Excited but need to plan it properly to make sure I get done everything before Christmas holidays So you can ask yourself that question and see what comes up. And if you are a business owner you can also ask yourself this question: 1) Q4 starts in ten days — on a scale of one to ten, how prepared does the business feel right now, and what's the one gap behind that number? I hear things like cash flow issues, staffing issues, growth issues, new product development, leadership changes, company sale and lots more. Either question, see what comes up. And then ask what you can do about it. The way I see it, you have about 90 days of Q4 (give or take holidays and stuff). So you have a new opportunity every day to get cracking on whatever it is you need to work on. Business, health, marriage, finances, new career, whatever. Anthony Whole Man Academy |

Hmmm... Most of the advice aimed at 'ambitious' men says roughly the same thing. Keep pushing for the result you want. Never stop pursuing you dreams. Rest when you’re dead, Mofo. And most of the time, I agree with it to some extent. I mean... I love it when a guy has an attitude where he makes things happen, he is prepared to work hard, to put in the hours to create the opportunities he needs. There's loads of those guys in the membership, either Spark, Network, or Nexus. So I'm all for...
Be honest. Do you love what you do for your career? In fact.. for some...another question would be... ...do you even LIKE it? Now I reckon... ...about 5% will say they love what they do. ...maybe 30% will 'like' what they do ...and the rest are in the lower categories of 'it's ok'. or ' I can't stand it'. I've been in all those categories before, so wherever you stand I'm with you. But on Friday I saw a great example of something we should all be impressed with. I was at the Horse of the year...
I have a deep rooted memory of being out in Turkey on holiday as a kid. My family at some old town market haggling with men over a handbag or wallet or something. They give you some nice Turkish tea and you settle in for a short bartering session that seemed to last for hours. All for the sake of some leather and a few quid discount. For some reason I just hated it. On reflection it's because, as a kid you have zero interest in pissing about in some little market that smells like a camels....
